Many of us are feeling isolated right now. We may be separated from our friends, colleagues or family, and are experiencing a sense of being cut off. It’s an interesting time to explore the wisdom of philosophers and mystics in light of cutting edge science, all of which affirm that separation is a delusion. We are all interconnected, whether we like it or not!
Socrates held the notion that invisible forms are responsible for shaping the physical plane and quantum mechanics now agrees, emphasizing the fact that energy fields influence matter.
Cell biologist, Bruce Lipton, describes the human race as billions of cells existing in the same field, all being influenced by the others and the critical mass. Imagine each of us, made up of 30 or 40 trillion cells, also being a single cell in humanity.
Consciousness researcher and psychiatrist, Dr. David R. Hawkins, maintained that “every act of kindness, consideration, forgiveness, or love affects everyone”.
Well, so much for the idea of isolation. It’s just that – an idea. A delusion.
I don’t know if this knowledge will help you feel less isolated. I certainly find it helps me. Not only that, but it gives me a sense of loving responsibility to be a positive influence as a single, influential cell of humanity.
